THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for a Project Finance Administrator to become an integral member of the Power team. This role is based in Sydney supporting project teams locally and nationally.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This role is strategically important to our future growth and impact. We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude, communicates, can prioritise their work and get things done. The successful candidate will be a team player, and able to work with a range of stakeholders including influencing senior leaders.

Some of your experience will include;

  • At least 3 years of project finance administration experience (preferably in the engineering sector); having managed multiple projects of varying values
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge
  • Joint Venture and Alliance experience will be highly regarded

Responsibilities:

This role will see you;

  • Ensure projects in the ERP are reflected with the most accurate and up to date financial information
  • Monitor project budgets and investigate any variances working closely with project and commercial teams
  • Interpret financial information on a weekly & monthly basis to support project management and commercial decisions
  • Champion data integrity and ensure accurate financial information is recorded in the ERP
  • Assist with subcontractor engagements
  • Prepare and submit invoices to clients
  • Manage multiple projects of varying values at any given tim
