Job Profile Summary
This role focuses on managing operational aspects of ongoing projects from initiation through completion and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. In addition, this role focuses on performing the following Administration Project Management duties: Serves as a liaison between the general project management office and the team members engaging in planning, reviews the status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, prepares status reports, and assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction. A professional individual contributor role that may direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs. The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education. A specialist level role that is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Typically manages large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager, coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals, resolving difficult and often complex problems.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree.
2. Project Management certification, PMP, or equivalent.
3. Five (5) years of experience managing complex projects in a healthcare environment.

1. Develops and aligns the project portfolio with organizational objectives, priorities, and strategies.
2. Identifies opportunities for process improvement across departments and projects. Leads process assessment, reengineering, and implementation efforts to optimize efficiency, quality, and productivity.
3. Develops and implements change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during process improvement initiatives.
4. Fosters collaboration and coordination among departments and project teams.
5. Oversees resource allocation across multiple complex projects, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with project objectives.
6. Identifies and assesses risks associated with complex projects and process improvement initiatives.
7. Develops and manages project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to budgetary constraints.
8. Identifies and engages stakeholders at various levels of the organization and external partners.
9. Establishes project governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to organizational policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
10. Implements effective project controls and quality assurance processes.
11. Prepares and delivers regular project status reports to executive leadership, providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
12. Demonstrates leadership in driving organizational change related to process improvement initiatives.
13. Coaches and mentors junior project managers and project team members.
14. Drives a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
15. Stays updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management and process improvement.
16. May oversee vendor selection, negotiation, and management for complex projects.
17. Assesses project feasibility, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources accordingly.
18. Monitors vendor performance, enforces contract compliance, and resolves any vendor-related issues or disputes.
19. Proactively identifies innovative solutions, tools, and methodologies to enhance project outcomes and organizational performance.
20. Captures and shares lessons learned from projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance future project delivery and efficiency.
21. Fosters their professional growth, provides guidance, and shares best practices in project management and process improvement.
22. Collaborates with senior management to define change strategies, align efforts, and secure executive sponsorship.
23. Communicates project achievements, value delivered, and recommendations for improvement.
24. Fosters strong relationships, manages expectations, and ensures stakeholder alignment throughout projects and process improvement initiatives.
25. Reviews financial reports, analyzes project costs, and implements cost-saving measures where applicable.
26. Facilitates effective communication channels, break down silos, and encourages cross-functional teamwork to achieve project goals.
27. Anticipates resistance, communicates change effectively, and engages stakeholders throughout the change process.
28. Identifies resource gaps and implement strategies to address them.
29. Develops risk mitigation plans, monitors risks, and implements proactive measures to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires ability to see computer screen and reports.
- Frequent sitting, occasional standing & walking, and lifting of 5-10 lbs.
- Requires manual dexterity using fine hand manipulation to operate computer keyboard.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to apply project management tools, concepts, and methodologies and workflow processes.
- Ability to define projects by translating customer issues/needs into solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work and effectively communicate with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, disciplines and levels of expertise, strong facilitation and presentation skills.
