Description:

YOUR SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND BEYOND:

  • Proven track record of managing projects ranging from $100K to $1M
  • Extensive involvement in framing, planning, and completing implementation projects.
  • Strong consulting experience, preferably from a product background, with an excellent understanding of the end-to-end consulting process.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Able to engage at all levels with stakeholders within Objective, and our customers.
  • Highly analytical with creative and effective problem-solving skills
  • Formal project management accreditation e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK highly desirable

Responsibilities:

OUR ROLE:

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Canberra. You will play a pivotal role in leading and executing assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards. By leveraging established methodologies, the Project Manager builds strong customer relationships and ensures seamless implementations that add significant value to our customers.
The role reports to the Regional Services Director and has no people management responsibilities.

A DAY IN YOUR ROLE:

  • Manage software (implementation, onboarding or development) projects in accordance with Objective’s Project Management Methodology.
  • Oversee project planning, budget, risks, issues, personnel, client, commercial issues, and testing.
  • Prepare estimates and proposals following the established processes and delegation of authority.
  • Assign tasks and evaluate consultants’ project delivery on an ongoing basis.
  • Foster long-term customer success, maintaining strong relationships to ensure successful solutions.
  • Ensure each customer project meets timelines and budgets and delivers the intended business outcomes for referenceability.
  • Support the Regional Services Director with reporting, forecasting, and resource management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and best practices within Objective’s methodology.
  • Participate in the Project Management forum and knowledge base.
  • Perform other duties as reasonably requested.
