PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage AI software development projects from initiation to closure.
- Manage software product developments.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate scope, objectives, and project deliverables with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed level-of-effort estimates, WBS, project plans and KPIs.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and progress toward project goals.
- Monitor project performance, track progress, and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project success.
- Facilitate effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Prepare and present regular project status minutes, actions, and reports to stakeholders and management.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in software development or AI-related projects.
- Ability to work cohesively and professionally within a team-based structure.
- Detail-oriented self-starter who can be trusted with project-critical tasks and paths.
- Experience working in software development lifecycles, such as predictive, iterative, and incremental software development lifecycles.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with strict deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in JIRA and other project management tools like Microsoft Project
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Required to meet qualifications to obtain a Canadian Government security clearance (typically requires the candidate to be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada).
- PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification is a plus
