Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Project Managers have successfully worked on five or more customer projects and have knowledge and experience in managing projects from inception to completion. They are responsible in developing project documents, budgets and schedules.
Will typically work under supervision of more experienced project managers or directors.
Experience: more than five years, managing projects with budgets between 200K to 1M EUR.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor university degree or equivalent Work Experience in HR Domain

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES :

  • Full lifecycle project management experience (5-7 years)
  • Consistently deliver quality products to time, cost and margin whether products are his/her own or delegated to others
  • Create client value (by solving client problems or continuous improvement) with innovative solutions across capabilities
  • Write and deliver compelling presentations and competently deliver presentations with limited time to prepare
  • Own significant, complex assignment risks and identify and solve significant issues
  • Take ownership for and write persuasive, client-ready documents
  • Gain consensus from a multi-discipline, dysfunctional group with different aims
  • Identify, design and support opportunities to use and continuously improve the X-shore delivery model and manage a team that is spread across geographies and multiple organizations for end-to-end delivery of solutions
  • Develop and maintain client relationships at Senior / Executive Level (within and outside the project environment), taking responsibility for deliverable sign-off; managing expectations around Zalaris’ performance, and; being seen by clients as a trusted advisor
  • Lead and manage significant teams within a complex assignment Plan the optimum mix of junior and senior resources in the team for right delivery and cost
  • Identify, create and support extension sales or margin opportunities outside the existing assignment scope within an existing client
  • Be recognised internally as a specialist across a number of process/functional/technology areas relating to area of expertise and contribute significantly to knowledge development, dissemination and the delivery tool set (within the capability and across Zalaris)
  • Have a broad understanding of all areas of the capability, be current with all developments and initiatives in area of expertise and apply these creatively to client requirements
  • Understand competing and complementary technologies, tools and products in field of expertise
  • Have a detailed understanding of current and past Zalaris assignments in field of expertise and apply to client requirements across verticals
  • Conduct fit and technical interviews for anyone at a lower grade; and
  • Coach peer and junior members of staff on performance (including difficult issues); and be an effective Development Manager
  • Effectively design, maintain and support the programme planning process through milestones, deliverables, workstream plans, selecting appropriate tools from either Synchrony methodology or client requirements for a large or complex programme and (only for AMS) Design and prepare proposal for AMS delivery model
  • Effectively design, maintain and support the programme control, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial and resource planning processes for a large or complex programme
  • Plan, lead, manage and deliver entire medium-sized assignments e.g. offshore service delivery manager or offshore project manager) and manage contractual deliverables
  • Validate and challenge risks, issues and dependencies with functional or team leads and design, implement and operate risk and change management processes and articulate the justification and financial and programme impacts of significant change requests

Responsibilities:

  • Actively support business development and presales activities including responding to RFPs, creating project estimates and timelines.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to Project Management.
  • Develop project management documents, including project budgets, schedules, scope statements, and project plans.
  • Setup & Maintenance of Project Management tools such as Zalaris Actvate Project Support Environment (ZAPSE) & associated Teams groups etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring that scope is adhered to at all times during the project.
  • Manage RAID logs & other associated governance registers related to project management.
  • Establish reporting and governance cadence, chair governacne meetings such as steering committee meetings etc.
  • Manage the Change Control Process.
  • Responsible for on-time and on-budget delivery of projects according to signed off estimates.
  • Manage invoices, purchase orders, and inventory reports. They handle financial documents and bookkeeping tasks.
  • Resource Allocation: Project Managers ensure that project resources are available when needed. This involves coordinating with team members and stakeholders

  • Meet with project clients to assess their needs, define project requirements, acceptance criteria, and project timelines aligned with the SOW & Zalaris Methodology.
  • Assign tasks to team members, clarifying expectations regarding project milestones and deliverables.
  • Liaison Between Teams. throughout the project life cycle, they act as a liaison between the project team and clients.
  • Take notes/ minutes during workshops, project meetings etc and documenting actions/ decisions accordingly.
  • Manage test management during test cycles owned by Zalaris during projects.
  • QA for project documentation.
  • Preparation of all final project documentation for handover to client and Zalaris BAU team
  • Keep up to date with PMO processes and standards.
  • Complete necessary company admin to ensure the smooth operation of delivery and finance.
  • Maintaining methodology documentation for project related deliverables (charters, strategy documents etc.)
  • Identify and communicate possible upsell or cross sell opportunities
  • Coach and mentor members of the team (when/where asked)
