Description We are seeking a certified psychiatric nurse practitioner to join Iredell Health System in Statesville, North Carolina to join our team caring for patients at our Behavioral Health Hospital. The position offers potential growth to outpatient services with anticipated development of a psychiatry residency program. Responsibilities: Utilize advanced treatments cutting-edge therapies Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage medications for patients, including those with substance-use disorders Deliver high-quality inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric care Collaborate and supervise mid-level providers to ensure exceptional patient outcomes Maintain accurate and compliant documentation standards Requirements Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with MSN or DNP Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Active or eligible for license in the NC Experience or strong interest in both inpatient and outpatient settings Professional Growth – opportunities for leadership, research, and teaching Strong leadership and teaching skills, with a collaborative approach to care Successful candidates will demonstrate strong clinical and communication skills, a team mentality, and an enthusiastic and innovative approach to program expansion and medical education
