Responsibilities:

  • Complete clinical interview(s), work with a psychometrist to administer and score a battery of standardized assessment tools, write reports and other clinical documentation, and provide feedback to patients, caregivers, medical teams, and other involved parties (e.g., schools)
  • Work collaboratively with existing mental health and medical colleagues to ensure integrated and complementary service delivery
  • Provide clinical teaching and supervision in psychoeducational assessments and related activities (e.g., consultation) to PhD-level psychology trainees, psychiatry residents and fellows, and other health professional colleagues
  • Participate in departmental initiatives and program-specific committees
  • Practice from an integrated, evidence-informed model that considers the implications of medical, physical, mental health, family cultural contexts and issues of social complexity
  • Demonstrate capacity to effectively manage complex situations inclusive of intense emotions and/or challenging behaviors that may arise in the course of a psychoeducational assessment
  • Collaborate with a large and diverse inter-professional health care team
  • Assume responsibility for all aspects of practice including accountabilities for standards of practice, productivity, and workload related data necessary for hospital reporting
  • Delivery of services in-person as well as virtua
