Job Description: We are currently seeking a PT Preoperative and PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. As a Preoperative and PACU RN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of patients through the perioperative process, from preoperative assessment to post-anesthesia care. Responsibilities: * Perform preoperative assessments, including reviewing medical histories and conducting physical assessments. * Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. * Monitor and document patient vital signs and conditions throughout the perioperative period. * Provide post-anesthesia care in the PACU, ensuring patient safety and comfort. * Assess and manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms. * Ensure patient and family education regarding post-operative care. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
