Corrpro is Canada’s largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for protecting and preserving infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro has complete construction installation services, including crews and equipment to install any cathodic protection system for any type of structure.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement Management, Inventory Management and ERP management / implementations
- Demonstrated financial analysis abilities.
- Experience managing spending in excess of $7 - 10M.
- Strong negotiation skills, including the ability to reconcile conflicting service and financial requirements
- Materials management experience
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, including experience with complex spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software. Ability to learn new applications quickly
- Advanced demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional and team environment
- Expert communication skills, verbal as well as written
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Tactical and Strategic procurement of commodities, supplies, equipment, and services necessary to support our Manufacturing and Construction Operations. Responsible for the oversight of inventory including costing, reporting and controls. Act as Liaison between Manufacturing and Finance to ensure accuracy of the inventory and costing. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures of Inventory and procurement Management (internal and external controls). Work with manufacturing leadership and cross functional teams to optimize total cost and to maintain inventory stocking plan to support our ability to deliver on time to our customers.
- Strategic Procurement: Responsible for strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, category management & administration. Manage contract executions, renewals, extensions and act as a gatekeeper for vendor information
- Tactical Procurement: Procure commodities, supplies, equipment, and services for the organization in a timely and cost-effective manner. Prepare and administer bids, requests for quote, requests for proposal, requests for information, and other vendor documentation. Manage service level agreements, scope of work and contract terms with service providers. Review and approve vendor invoices based on agreed upon pricing, quantity and item description on purchase order. Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies. Work with suppliers to resolve errors including returns, credits, and replacement materials
- Supplier Management: Facilitate quarterly contract review meetings with Key supplier and operations team to measure supplier performance against Key Performance Indicators and to identify opportunities for service improvement
- Takes initiative to actively reduce / optimize inventory levels
- Acts as the JDE “Super User” utilizing strong system understanding for trouble shooting and solving variances, errors and reporting issues. Provides technical JDE (ERP System) knowledge and support to new and existing users via JDE training in all Supply Chain applications (step by step instruction)
- Consistently meets deadlines within a fast-paced work environment and works effectively within time constraints

- Establish and maintain positive relationships with Internal customers, partners and staff

- Strong knowledge and experience in ERP system building Bill of Materials, Item setup, DAS customized reports and establishing best in class inventory controls
