Job Purpose
To deliver sustainable supply chain solutions which will enable UMG to remain commercially competitive, whilst ensuring world class levels of supply chain performance are delivered to UMG operations.
The position will liaise with the UMG Business Development team to deliver new business quotations for new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Support business growth and improve financial performance.
- Ensure all QCD targets are achieved for new business.
- To deliver projects from a sustainable supply chain perspective that achieves QCD targets.
- To maintain programme management timing and successful achievement of project gateways.
- Provide support for new business enquiries to the Business Development team.
- To explore & develop the potential talent in all team members and facilitate their personal development and career progression in support of the wider organisational capability.
- Possess the ability to exercise sound judgement in a high-pressure environment.
- Proven ability to motivate, coach and mentor others in a team oriented, collaborative environment.
- Proven leadership skills in a demanding JIT production environment.
