Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Altrad is currently in search of an experienced Turnover Coordinator, the opportunity is for someone with an administrative background working on major projects. Reporting to the Quality Manager and supporting the Quality team, we are looking for a highly motivated administrative support member to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate is action-oriented, loves a challenge, and takes initiative working with a diverse range of both staff and management, and has the ability to work well within a team to become a vital part of our team at a prominent Construction Project situated in Kitimat, BC. This role entails a 14:7 roster (or 20:8 roster – depending on the point of hire), working 10 hours per day. Flights and accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates on a Full-Time/Fixed-Term Contract basis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a major projects support role
- Experience working on major projects from start to finish.
- Works effectively in a team environment
- Document management systems: 3 years (preferred)
- Administrative: 3 years (preferred)
- Data entry: 3 years (preferred)
- QA/QC Administration: 3 years (preferred)
- Client service and focus to establish and maintain effective relationships with Client
- Self-motivated with strong willingness and ability to learn and be challenged
- Strong computer skills using MS Office and SharePoint
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- The desire to work in a strong team environment to achieve organizational goals, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be a self-starter, motivated and perform well in high-pressure environments
- Working Knowledge of quality control documents and drawings, (isometrics and P&IDs) is an asset

Responsibilities:
- Updating spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical information.
- Organizing internal meetings and taking minutes as necessary.
- Maintaining all Quality actions and communicating with internal staff members to ensure timely completion.
- Maintaining various Quality-related documentation such as non-conformance reports, internal audit schedules, procedures, and policies.
- Maintaining various documentation such as meeting minutes and inspection reports.
- Entering information into spreadsheets and online databases.
- Updating the safety boards with contact details, procedures, posters, performance results, and any other relevant information.
- Working with the Quality Manager and other key stakeholders to provide administrative support for internal improvement projects.
- Communicating Quality information to internal or external stakeholders as required.
- Providing general administrative support as needed, including handling document control and data archiving.
- Assisting with reporting and documentation to ensure high standards of work are maintained.
- Supporting the quality controls function and adhering to safety protocols as instructed by the Quality Manager.
- Demonstrating a commitment towards a safe working environment and fostering a positive safety culture.
- Any other administrative function as required by the Quality team.
