    We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to ensure compliance with quality standards in melting, casting, and heat treatment. The ideal candidates will have experience in metallurgy, manufacturing, and quality control.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and optimization skills.
  • Language: Proficient in English (written and verbal).
  • Location: Must be willing to relocate to Ras Al Khair.
  • Iqama: Valid Iqama is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and inspect raw material preparation and charge setup to ensure adherence to specified requirements.
  • Oversee melting operations, verifying compliance with process parameters and safety protocols.
  • Conduct chemical composition analysis and verify furnace conditions to maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure that temperature control, alloying additions, and melting procedures are followed correctly.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections of molten metal quality, identifying and addressing deviations or defects.
  • Work closely with melting operators and metallurgists to implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and reports, ensuring proper documentation of melting parameters, test results, and process deviations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing melting efficiency and product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, ASTM, and company-specific quality management system (QMS) standards.
  • Report any non-conformities or safety violations and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation.
