QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree required; additional qualification (e.g., Photoshop) as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, or Office Admin Assistant, or a Receptionist
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, e.g., printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Social Media competency
  • Independent mobility
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Team spirit
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Preparedness for taking up additional responsibilities whenever needed

Responsibilities
  • Take care of the front desk
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Assist in the preparation of important reports
  • Assist in updating the school’s social media, newsletter and website
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Provide general support to visitors and clients
  • Provide general support to all students and colleagues
  • Act as the point of contact for students, faculty and staff
  • Be willing to take up additional responsibilities whenever needed
