  • Providing a warm and efficient welcome to all visitors and suppliers and supporting them as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as a focal point for visitors and suppliers and ensuring the movement of people in and out of the building is controlled effectively.
  • Answer telephone calls and deal with any queries in the most courteous way, as part of the Care Home Team.
  • To maintain stocks of promotional material in the agreed format to ensure that prospective residents and visitors always receive the correct information.
  • To keep all records and filing up to date ensuring that the security of the files complies with Data Protection requirements and information relating to residents always remains safe.
  • Check through the post daily, forwarding it to the relevant departments. Post any outgoing mail at the end of each day.
  • To provide Reception cover at the Home.
  • Prepare notices or posters for the Home administration support as required.
  • To always follow the Organisation’s Policies and Procedures particularly those relating to Health and Safety at Work and Data Protection and raise concerns to protect from harm.
  • To attend training as required by the Organisation to promote excellence in service provision and exceptional customer service
