    Our client is a leading law firm and is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Receptionist to join their team and manage the front desk alongside their Head Receptionist. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the organisation, providing administrative support across the practise. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, coordinating front-desk activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office.

Requirements:

  • Ideally have a interest within the industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Resourcefulness and proactivity in addressing issues.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and welcoming guests, notifying staff members of their arrival, and guiding them to the appropriate meeting room or seating area.
  • Handle outgoing post, including sending out special or recorded items to the post office, and arranging couriers and parcel services.
  • Answer, screen, and redirect incoming phone calls while taking detailed messages when staff members are unavailable.
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area and meeting rooms.
  • Collecting and dropping off mail.
  • Provide refreshments for guests.
  • Offer basic and accurate information in-person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Monitor inquiries and the overnight inbox, forwarding them to the relevant individuals or departments.
  • Schedule office appointments and book meeting rooms for fee earners, updating diaries accordingly.
  • Conduct weekly checks of kitchen and office supplies.
