Description:
PHL are looking for a Receptionist to work in Winchester Hospital.
As a key member of the team at PHL, your role is very important as the first point of contact for our patients. A kind and empathetic person, you will be expected to take control and be accountable for the given situation, treating every patient with respect and providing confidence in our ability to deliver a great and caring service.
We are looking for reliable, friendly and must be flexible to join the team that are available to work,
RECEPTIONIST SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Relevant Reception / Customer Service or administration experience
- Must be confident, multitask, work independently without supervision
- Sensitivity and empathy with people from different backgrounds
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy when dealing with patients and multidisciplinary team
- Ability to use Microsoft office or other databases
- Previous experience of Adastra and EMIS would be desirable but not essential
As an integral team member, you will efficiently manage patient and customer interactions, keeping them informed to the progress and liaising with your duty team leader as appropriate to ensure a seamless and first-class service is delivered.

- Answering the telephone promptly and deal with all enquiries, maintaining confidentially at all times

- Ensure the reception area is kept tidy and all areas are safe
