JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role you will take on full desk recruiting responsibilities which range from sourcing to closing both inbound and outbound candidates. Starting with the most urgent roles in Sales and Engineering Team, you will work with the Leadership to hone the end-to-end candidate experience, so it is both efficient and effective. Ideal candidates will embody an entrepreneurial mindset, take on roles across the organization, and proactively develop initiatives to help the company accelerate its growth.

As the first full-time recruiter you will set the standard of hiring at a high-growth company in the EdTech space that has provided market-leading products to premiere organizations around the world for a decade.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1+ years of successful full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Client management experience - developing consultative relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and G-Suite
  • Experience with one of the modern ATS system to manage candidate pipelines, track applications, and generate reports (BambooHR preferred)
  • Strong data management skills, including the ability to analyze recruitment data and generate reports for insights and decision-making.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and proactively define scalable structures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • In-person role, Monday-Friday at the Toronto Office

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with leadership to support their hiring and onboarding efforts, with an initial focus on roles in the sales and customer success organizations
  • Develop insight around the talent market and effective recruiting practices
  • Manage the offer process and develop effective closing strategies
  • Strategically and creatively source passive candidates for Senior positions
  • Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) data and ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Track and document candidate communications in ATS
  • Scheduling all interviews for candidates and ensuring high quality candidate experience through the hiring process
  • Source multiple candidates and clients utilizing a combination of our ATS, cold calls, LinkedIn Recruiter, Job postings,, and referrals.
