As the Regional Sales Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you have the opportunity to make a significant impact and drive incremental growth for the Chemical Analysis Division’s Environmental & Process Monitoring business in the South- and East Europe. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree, advanced degrees preferred
- 5+ years of sales experience with a documented track record of success
- 2+ years of experience as an indirect people and/or distribution manager
- Must have sold capital pieces of equipment
- Ability to travel 50%+ across the assigned territory
- Strong technical knowledge of the chemical and/or environmental industry and experience selling in those markets
- Self-starter and able to work on your own
- Ability to prospect new business and have that “hunter” attitude
- Strong communication skills – orally and written in English
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities:
LOCATION OF THE ROLE:
The Regional Sales Manager can be based out of:
- Italy (preferred), Spain, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic or Poland
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with direct and indirect customers to create and maintain a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain Go-To-Market plans for the region in close collaboration with the local Channel Manager
- Understand the strengths and vulnerabilities of major competitors and develop sales strategies to respond effectively
- Be creative in finding ways to close deals based on a ‘must-win’ mentality
