Description:
Responsibilities:
- Ensure and promote all procedures described in the MOE and supporting procedures are adhered too to ensure site adherence.
- Promote and support the safety and compliance monitoring within the area of responsibility. Including supporting effective root cause analysis (RCA) and the management of the site’s findings effectively.
- The efficient operation of the Technical Records function.
- Liaison with the respective department and lead engineers to ensure that engineering staff are made aware of the planned maintenance requirements.
- The issue of any applicable maintenance instructions and documents/work packages to the maintenance process – including known Airworthiness Directives.
- The issue of scheduled work packs to the hangar.
- Maintaining local technical libraries IAW this MOE and informing engineering staff of any changes that affect safety.
- Ensuring that maintenance data held is current and up to date IAW current procedures and maintain and publish a technical publication register.
- Ensuring all logbook certificates are prepared and entered correctly, as requested by owners and when any maintenance task is carried out.
- Ensuring that any held electronic record system is kept up to date when any maintenance activity is carried out.
- Monitoring the timely return of work packages and reviewing for content and acceptability.
- Liaising with Department Heads and engineers to ensure that work packs are completed correctly IAW this MOE.
- Assisting the maintenance managers to respond to any audit findings and non-conformances that directly affect the technical records function.
- Also, the role of Regional Technical Services Lead forms part of the Shared Services function, whilst maintaining regulatory compliance to the nominated post holder for BMM Rotary Wing
