JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in acute care settings such as hospitals or long-term care facilities is preferred.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth.
  • Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.
  • Critical care experience is highly desirable; familiarity with Level I or II trauma centers is a plus.
  • Knowledge of various specialties including pediatrics, geriatrics, internal medicine, hospice & palliative medicine, and behavioral health is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while providing compassionate patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform procedures such as IV insertion, suturing, catheterization, and phlebotomy as needed.
  • Participate in discharge planning and case management for patients transitioning to home or other facilities.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during procedures.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.
