We are looking for a part time Registered Nurse ( Days) to join our existing teams of amazing nurses and carer’s at Resthaven Nursing Home based in Stroud.
Lilian Faithfull Care is a well-established charity based in Gloucestershire that provides care, support and a home for Life for the elderly.
The successful applicant will work with the care team, supporting and leading the team whilst on shift, reporting to the Home Manager . With proven leadership skills, and a strong understanding of dementia and legislative framework surrounding care of older People.
Applicants need to have a current active UK nurse’s pin.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A caring individual who is compassionate about providing care and support to elderly.
  • A genuine interest in working within a caring environment, to help people retain their dignity and respect their privacy.
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Works well in a team
  • Are flexible as shifts will include weekends on a rota basis.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Senior Team in the Clinical aspects of running the Home and in the provision and delivery of day to day care
  • Providing the highest standards of quality care and dignity in accordance with the Charity’s policies, and CQC whilst meeting our resident’s needs.
  • Assisting with mobility, personal hygiene, dressing and feeding ensuring dignity and respect for the resident at all times.
  • Helping and encouraging residents to undertake these tasks for themselves as appropriate.
