Job Title: Registrar
Department: Office of the Registrar
Reports To: Dean of Education (DoE) / Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Location: Calgary, AB Office
Salary: $60,000.00 per year (salary commensurate with proven experience)
Job Type: Full Time – Permanent

MUST-HAVES (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):

· Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field with 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
· Prior experience as a working registrar at a post secondary institution.
· Familiarity with student information systems (SIS) and records management software (CRM).
· Strong knowledge of student privacy regulations (FOIPA) and accreditation standards.
· Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
· Knowledge of financial aid processes and regulatory compliance.
· Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

· Student Registration & Records Management: Lead and manage the student registration process, ensuring that all student records are accurate and up-to-date throughout their academic journey.
· Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure that all operations within the Registrar’s office adhere to relevant policies, industry regulations, and accreditation standards.
· Funder Communication: Serve as the primary contact for funding organizations, ensuring that proper documentation is maintained, and communications are handled efficiently.
· Student Complaint Management: Handle student complaints and concerns with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring timely resolutions.
· Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Foster collaboration and maintain strong communication across departments to enhance operational efficiency.
· Student Support & Services: Provide student-centered services, supporting both academic and personal needs to ensure a positive student experience.
· Administrative Functions: Perform daily administrative duties to maintain the smooth operation of the Office of the Registrar.
· Staff Communication: Ensure transparent and effective communication among staff to promote a positive and productive work environment.
· Team Leadership: Proven leadership skills to lead the Office of the Registrar administration.
