QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required - FAA certified Airframe & Powerplant ratings
  • Preferred - A320 series fleet qualified
  • Required - A320 series line maintenance experience
  • Preferred - Currently holds a Manager, Supervisor or Leadership position in Maintenance or Production Control
  • Required - Current Passport
  • Preferred - Previous Vendor rep experience

Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The Field Maintenance Vendor Representative provides general oversight of Maintenance, Material, and GSE operations for contracted Class II maintenance stations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Cultivate and maintain a good working relationship with the business partner, Airport operations, Frontier staff and other entities that the vendor rep would interact with
  • Review and understand Frontier GMM Chapter 10.21
  • Ensure business partner has continuous access to all applicable and current manuals required to perform maintenance operations per GMM 10.21
  • Champion and support company Initiatives- such as FMIS, Headstart programs, and other initiatives as defined by management.
  • To reduce MEL numbers: Proactively review the local turn schedule and MEL list for through flight maintenance opportunities. Proactively reach out to MOC with opportunities at your station.
  • Monitor all inbound aircraft and communicate any issues to the business partner. (Using Airman when possible)
  • Assigns additional work locally as necessary with advisement made to MCC/Planning.
  • Provide management and plane-side assistance of any AOG aircraft and provides a direct point of contact with MCC.
  • Assists in identifying negative maintenance trends and provides feedback to the business partner, Technical Services, and local Field Maintenance and Technical Specialist where applicable.
  • Identify training deficiencies and work collaboratively with the management team to implement effective training solutions.
  • Provides training assistance with the business provider to assure technicians fully understand the tasks that they are required to perform- Which may include hands on instruction.
  • Generates and reviews the Sabre/F9 station delay reports for accuracy as it pertains to maintenance. Communicates delay change requests to the local city manager daily.
  • Communicates troubleshooting and work scope requests.
  • All reps will review and scan paperwork into ERRP. Communicates and ensures error corrections are handled in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate engineering requests and subsequent responses between Frontier Engineering, Field Maintenance Technical Specialists, and the business partner.
  • Provide oversight of Parts and tooling identification for MEL’s interaction between Frontier and the business partner and reviews the status of material requisitions in order to avoid a delay in maintenance.
  • Attends the daily maintenance conference calls to provide follow up from previous days delays, as well as OOS Information, status of the maintenance checks, MEL status, and materials planning for overnight maintenance.
  • Monitors the proper completion of aircraft records (e.g., logbook pages, work cards, non-routines, Engineering documents [EOs, EAs, etc.], and other related documents) during RON and Line Maintenance.
  • Ensures that production planning best practices are implemented at the station.
  • Ensure all communications (verbal or via email), are conducted in a professional manner, as you are the face of the company at your station.
  • Work schedule to be defined by Sr. Regional Mgr., or other management as necessary to support the operation.
  • Own station performance reporting, (examples, headstart performance, delay’s, cancellations)
