MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree with 18-21 months of full-time verifiable work experience (to include 1 month of experience in support of SMDC).
- Knowledge and use of infrared last and diode laser beam equipment.
- Moderate to advance technical knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- 21+ months of work experience.
- Experience in support of metallurgical lab.
- Knowledge and use of spatial light modulator equipment.
Responsibilities:
The Research Associate II will provide physics and optical expertise in support of the Army SMDC.
Additional Duties / Responsibilities
- Use optical equipment to meticulously align laser beams.
- Provide support for research using diode laser beam.
