Description:

JOB OVERVIEW:

As a Resident Services Coordinator, the position is in the Community Center at the Front Desk. Greets residents and assists with membership matters including daily and special events registration, activity and guest cards, and vehicle registration.
Compensation: $20 per hour
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, certifications, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client’s property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client’s directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in working with adults over age 55.
  • Experience working for a community association or country club.
  • High school diploma
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Adhere to required deadlines.
  • Foster cooperation and work well within a team atmosphere
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with the Board, staff, residents, and volunteers.
  • Conflict resolution skills; excellent “people” skills.
  • Multi-tasking.
  • Accurately make changes and prepare deposits.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of SCA policies and procedures; communicate this knowledge effectively to staff and residents.
  • Strong computer skills; learn software such as ACCESS, Jonas, and InterAccess software products.
    Work Location: Las Vegas, NV
    Work Hours: Monday to Wednesday 8am-5pm & Thursday-Friday 12pm-9pm
    This could include nights & weekends as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
  • Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards.
  • Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct.
  • Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional materials and supplies.
  • Opens or closes the Community Center, as the shift requires. Maintains a flexible work schedule.
  • including minor holiday work, evening, and weekend work is required.
  • In accordance with board-approved policies, administers membership programs including but not limited to, membership directory forms, guest passes, resident stickers, age qualification, lease information from owners renting property, and owner contact information.
  • Checks in members and guests; records members’ planned use of the facility in the activities registration system. Periodically walks the facility to identify residents and guests not checked in; collects membership cards and enters guest card information. Collects guest fees for nonresident use of the Community Center or accompanying member guest use. By supervisor direction, administers board-approved rules for use of the Community Center.
  • Log in/out and distribute activity equipment and keys. Ensures that equipment and keys return at the end of the day in good condition.
  • Registers residents for special events and classes in the activities registration system. Collects payment at the time of registration and provides receipts.
  • Creates photo-id membership cards for new residents meeting eligibility criteria and enters information in the membership database. Creates replacement photo-id membership cards as needed. Stocks/replenishes business center supplies; makes copies, sends and receives faxes.
  • Coordinates the vending machine deliveries, reports machine breakdowns and re-stocking needs to vendor, and issues refunds from vendor-provided refund kitty.
  • Maintains the membership filing system in a neat and orderly fashion, filing paperwork for all departments. Break down and scan membership files in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Answers phones, greets visitors and provides information and referrals if necessary. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
  • Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
  • Perform any range of special projects, tasks, and other related duties as assigned.
