Description:

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager for our Retail segment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with retail partners, ensuring their success on the Deliveroo platform. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for driving business growth. The candidate must focus on operational excellence while being commercially driven to grow the business. You will report to Oussama Zeinab (Head of On-Demand Grocery and Retail) and you will be based in our Kuwait office where we are operating on a hybrid model where you will come into the office at least 3 days a week.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, preferably in the retail or e-commerce industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Operational acumen with the ability to optimise processes and resolve logistical challenges.
  • Commercially driven and results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for retail partners, managing day-to-day interactions and ensuring their satisfaction with Deliveroo’s services.
  • Account Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and order volume for retail partners, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective operational processes for retail partners, addressing any logistical challenges and optimising operations.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse partner performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new retail partners, ensuring a smooth integration into the Deliveroo platform.
  • Promotional Activities: Collaborate with partners and internal marketing teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by partners in a timely and effective manner.
