JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience:
  • At least two years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Skills and Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • General understanding of building science and a willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing projects and priorities.
  • Capacity to meet deadlines and follow instructions accurately.
Responsibilities
  • Administrative
  • Maintain project documentation, including data entry forms, work logs, and site assessments.
  • Communicate project updates through established chains of command.
  • Field Services
  • Perform and lead hands-on home repairs using basic carpentry skills.
  • Complete common repair tasks such as framing, flooring, trim work, ramps, siding, and more.
  • Procure building materials and organize project completion across multiple sites.
  • Lead and coordinate volunteer teams during project days.
  • Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
  • Manage debris removal and ensure work sites are clean and safe.
  • Additional Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency situations as directed.
  • Travel frequently within the 8-parish service area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
