Description:

OUR MISSION…

Trade Ledger exists to create a world where every business gets the capital it needs to thrive. Through the use of smart technology and new digital datasets we have created a credit orchestration platform so lenders can embed, launch and scale next-gen working capital products - quickly to a much wider audience.
We specialise in making complex working capital products — Invoice Finance, Asset-Based-Lending, and Receivables Finance — simple, intuitive, and sustainable. From origination to in-life management, our ’out-of-the-box’ designs help lenders launch new digital products in as little as 90-days.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must Have:

  • Over 5 years of experience in Product Engineering, particularly in SaaS, Digital, or Financial Service products.
  • Proficiency in component-based JavaScript frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte, etc.).
  • Strong capability in integrating with RESTful APIs and working collaboratively with backend engineering teams.
  • A commitment to Test-Driven Development, embedding quality and security considerations into engineering solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of major cloud ecosystems and modern development practices, including CI/CD and compliance pipelines.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with the Open Banking Framework, Payment rails, or other mission-critical financial systems.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL.

Responsibilities:

As a Frontend UI Lead at Trade Ledger, you will not only develop but also drive the vision and standards of our UI development team. You’ll be pivotal in shaping the customer interface of our next-generation credit lending platform, which backs billions in B2B lending. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and Inspiring: Guide the UI team towards high-quality standards, ensuring the codebase is scalable, maintainable, and integrates accessibility standards seamlessly.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Take initiative to identify and address issues before they escalate. You’re expected to lead by example, not just executing tasks but actively seeking opportunities to enhance our platform’s user experience.
  • Balanced Decision-Making: Understand the nuances of trade-offs between usability, speed, and quality. You’ll be adept at navigating the delicate balance between time to market, reusability, documentation, and delivering an exceptional UX.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with designers, backend teams, and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and user-centered development process. Your communication skills will bridge gaps and foster a culture of openness and innovation.
