Stonebridge Construction Ltd is seeking experienced self-employed kitchen fitters and joiners to deliver high-quality installation services on a large-scale social housing kitchen refurbishment project throughout North West England.
This is a long-term opportunity to work on a community-focused initiative, improving the standard of housing for local residents. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of domestic kitchen installations, strong attention to detail, and a customer-first approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake complete kitchen installations, including dismantling existing units and fitting new cabinetry, worktops, appliances, and fixtures.
• Perform on-site joinery adjustments to ensure precise alignment and finish.
• Coordinate with site management, electricians, plumbers, and tilers to meet project timelines.
• Adhere to building regulations, health & safety standards, and project specifications.
• Ensure each installation meets quality benchmarks and tenant satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate installation records and report progress.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience fitting kitchens in domestic or social housing settings.
• Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fit plans.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a site team.
• Proven reliability, efficiency, and professionalism in client-facing environments.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card or equivalent site safety certification.
• Own transport, tools, and suitable PPE.
• Public liability insurance (£2M minimum).
• Eligibility to work in the UK and full compliance with subcontractor legal responsibilities.
