Description:
Murata Finland is developing leading edge gyroscope and accelerometer safety-critical sensors for global automotive, industrial and healthcare markets. We design full custom mixed mode ASICs from concept level to volume production. Murata has flexible remote work policy in Finland and way of working can be planned according to your personal needs. Most of the workdays can be done remotely, but the job requires weekly work on site.
Your main responsibility will be analog / mixed mode ASIC layout design from block level layout to top level. You will be working with internal design team, design partners and project manager and you will coordinate and support the layout work of a small layout team together with ASIC project manager.
In order to be successful in this position, these are the essential qualifications:
- Technical education (e.g. M.Sc) with emphasis on microelectronics
- 3+ years of experience on analog / mixed signal layout design:
- Floorplanning of mixed mode ASIC’s.
- Integrating digital block, NVM (non-volatile memory) and other IP blocks to top level layout.
- Layout design of various blocks such as voltage references, AD/DA converters, oscillators, amplifiers etc.
- Layout design of both continuous time and Switched Capacitor layout design.
- Full and metal mask tape-outs.
- Deep understanding and experience on layout design flow, tools and configurations for
- DRC, LVS, QRC, IR drop and EM
- Ability for 3-dimensional thinking is essential for high density layout drawing.
- Knowhow how to mitigate layout imperfections such as mismatch and cross talk.
- Understanding the layout structure of basic devices: N/PMOS, DEN/P, BJT, Res, MiM, MOM, isolation, guard rings, die seal ring.
- You communicate fluently in English.
- Systematic and careful way of working.
- You are innovative and interested in working in an international environment.
- Experience on layout design lead role or knowhow in layout design related to ESD/Latch-up is highly appreciated but not mandatory.
