Senior Android Engineer - Emerging Propositions

THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As part of the Emerging Propositions team you will be involved in exciting projects that primarily focus on our customers’ experience in the beauty, designer and re-commerce domain.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• Play a key role in design, development, deployment, operating and improving scalable software solutions that have a direct impact on our daily business with our customers.
• Lean on your Android experience and skill set, write robust, performant and maintainable code. Own your code and contribute to decisions on the product features and technologies and tools to deliver features on our native Android app.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders within and outside of your team and seek feedback.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and build great digital experiences using Kotlin with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Take an active role in understanding business requirements and translating them into technological solutions. Collaborate closely with Product Management (and other roles) to refine the functional requirements and build test cases to be verified during development and feature release.
• Focus on maintaining and improving code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and use feedback as an opportunity for growth.
• Proactively help in the growth of juniors and peers in your team and beyond.
• Contribute to our growing tech community, encourage knowledge sharing and learn from your peers.
