YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in the role, you will require the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Accounting/Finance/Bookkeeping
  • Experience with NDIS and NDIS claims highly regarded
  • Xero experience highly regarded
  • Experience in financial reporting and analysis, preparation of budgets and financial reporting to management and funding agencies
  • Advanced ability in MS Excel essential. Intermediate ability with the MS Office suite of products such as Word, Outlook and SharePoint
  • The successful applicant will also need to be a highly motivated individual, capable of working autonomously, have great interpersonal skills and a solution focused attitude.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (this role has been identified as a risk assessed role)
  • Experience in the healthcare industry (desirable)

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Co-Group are looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with our biggest business partner in Craigieburn, Victoria, providing accounting support to their Director and Operations Team .

  • This is a Permanent Full-Time position.
  • Monday to Friday business hours (Work from home on occasions)
  • Craigieburn Office

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • Managing Accounts receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Submitting NDIS and SILS Claims
  • Processing of invoices and preparation of payment batches
  • Rostering Administration (Invoice preparation and time sheets for payroll)
  • Work with rostering staff to convert shifts to invoices to upload to accounting system
  • Work with rostering staff to convert shifts to time sheets to ensure worker are paid fortnightly
  • Follow up client contracts with Support Co-ordinator staff for filing and ensure client set up correctly in rostering software
  • Maintenance of clients in Xero accounting software
  • Preparation of month end accounts (accruals for sales and payroll)
