The impact you’ll have:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of business stakeholders and IT professionals.
  • Identify opportunities for improving systems, processes, and data within the analytics space.
  • Develop and present compelling business cases to address challenging business needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for business stakeholders, ensuring their data needs are met.
  • Document business requirements, analyze current processes, and define future processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings with stakeholders, translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.
  • Conduct functional testing to ensure product quality before solutions are delivered to stakeholders.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders on priorities, deliverables, and process improvements.
  • Strong experience in documenting problem statements, detailed business requirements, and data mapping documents in standardized formats.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify business process gaps and suggest improvements.
  • Experience creating comprehensive documentation for data requests, including use case, diagrams, source/destination system details, field mappings, and necessary transformations.
  • Experience conducting application unit testing, functional testing, and coordinating user acceptance testing.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and manage multiple and competing priorities while maintaining a focus on execution.
  • Willingness to learn and grow both technical and functional skill sets.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Computer Science, or Data Analytics.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile methodology and documenting user stories.
  • 3+ years of experience in communicating across multiple business lines.
  • 2+ years of experience in testing.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with BPMN or similar business process documentation/modeling standards.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with data integration/analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Workato, AWS Data Lake, AWS Glue, BI tools (Power BI, Domo or Tableau) is a plus.

Benefits and Pay Range: Pay Range – This role’s range is $81,500. - $139,500*. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
