Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer/Engineer to spearhead enterprise-level BI solutions, particularly in the engineering and construction project control sector. The role involves deploying and architecting BI strategies, focusing on report distribution and data layering using Power BI. This position is crucial in transforming our data capabilities, especially within governmental and large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with high-level managers and executives to understand and discover BI, ensuring solutions align with strategic objectives.
We are seeking candidates based in Limerick or surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive BI solutions using Power BI
Develop and execute deployment strategies for BI reports and data layers
Collaborate with senior management and executives to gather and understand BI requirements
Architect and maintain data warehouses, ensuring data is structured for optimal reporting and analysis
Lead the integration of BI solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, and other relevant technologies
Ensure BI solutions are scalable and align with digital transformation initiatives
Utilise ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into BI systems
Provide expertise in DAX, SQL, and Fabric BI Management for advanced data analysis and reporting
Offer insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes
Maintain documentation and provide training on BI tools and best practices
Our Ideal Candidate
Extensive experience in developing and deploying BI solutions at an enterprise level
Proven expertise in Power BI, including report creation, DAX, and data modeling
Strong background in ETL processes and data warehouse management
Familiarity with Fabric/Power BI Management
Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint integration
Demonstrated ability to engage with high-level managers and executives to capture and define BI requirements
Background in engineering or construction project control planning is highly desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex BI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
A proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest BI technologies and trends
Must have EU/UK citizenship or hold a valid stamp 4 working visa
