JOB SPECIFIC CAPABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Understands change tools, methodology and models and can explain key components of managing an end-to-end change program.
  • Understands the differences in project methodologies. Identifies which change tools are appropriate and can adapt tools for project specific requirements.
  • Articulates change management metrics and benefits and builds stakeholder understanding of how change management contributes to benefits realisation.
  • Considers the business environment, drivers and needs and applies that knowledge to change activities. Demonstrates the ability to speak the language of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Change Managers are accountable for the design and delivery of Change Management interventions/ solutions as an integral part of project delivery for projects having an impact on the business.
  • This includes identifying the appropriate change management strategy within the project and business context; leading and manage the change management workstream including the design, development and implementation of change management deliverables; managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Working with the Project/ Program Manager, Business Owner, Change Lead to engage stakeholders and ensure business readiness.
  • Working collaboratively with the other stream leads to identify, understand and facilitate transition activities relevant to the scope and scale of business impacts resulting from the changes being introduced.
  • Strategically selects the appropriate tools, methodology and models when facilitating change, in line with the organisation’s strategy, structure, process and culture. Identifies broader change impacts, transition requirements and outcomes, and tailors the change and communications plan accordingly.
  • Develop business readiness plans and activities to enable key stakeholders support the project implementation.
  • Plan and assist in executing interim model solutions that support the business through the transitional process.
  • Develop comprehensive ways of leading the change management effort through all stages of the project lifecycle, with reference to project risk identification and mitigation.
  • Manage and assess change impacts for: the enterprise heat map, the project and for any potential scope changes.
  • Conduct a Change Management Post Implementation Review to ensure a successful outcome and to enable further learning across the practice.
  • Actively co-manage with the Project/ Program Manager the risk and issue management process by identifying, reporting and managing change risks and resolving issues.
  • Maintain a personal skill base, performance standard and personal profile that facilitates the achievement of the individual utilisation target and billable fee rate.
