OVERVIEW:

The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for performing external market analyses, participating in salary surveys, preparing job descriptions, and assisting with variable pay program administration. Also responsible for providing comprehensive analytical support as well as participating in the design, implementation and administration of various compensation programs that align with the Company’s goals and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Finance or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in the analysis, design and/or administration of compensation programs
  • Financial analysis experience
  • Retail experience (preferred)
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Preferred
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to meet stringent deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Thorough attention to detail is imperative
  • Excellent mathematical, analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to develop and produce meaningful reports from multiple streams of data
  • Ability to handle situations that have a variety of interpretations and require careful evaluation
  • Ability to simply and concisely convey complex ideas

Targeted Pay Range: $67,100 - $109,000. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the administration of variable pay programs.
  • Provide guidance to HR Business Partners on various compensation-related items.
  • Gather and maintain market-based compensation data utilizing the Market Pay compensation tool to assist in providing salary recommendations for external hires, ensuring internal market competitiveness, maintaining / adjusting internal compensation structures, drafting job descriptions as needed.
  • Participate in salary surveys and analyze results to ensure competitive positioning in the market and assist in making decisions regarding future compensation practices.
  • Manage compensation initiatives and special projects by developing timelines, monitoring progress toward completion of milestones, conducting modeling / financial analysis, and providing reporting.
  • Work with HRIS and IT staff to ensure technology systems meet compensation needs, and is updated consistently and accurately to reflect changes to salary structures, incentive programs, etc.
  • Perform regular compensation program audits. Identify opportunities for and implement process improvements.
