POSITION SUMMARY

“Senior consultant are responsible for the overall module implementation and leads key customer workshops. Responsible for design and configuration and integration with other modules or systems.
Senior consultants have many years of consulting experience and have successfully worked on a wide range of customer projects; also as team/ module leads. They specialise in several specialist fields and/or industries and are familiar with customers’ requirements in those fields and IT areas.
The Senior Consultant will be involved in preparing the detailed project plan for his/her functional area along with the PM’s. The Senior Consultant will also assist in business development activities (pre-sales estimates, proposal writing, response to requirements). Senior Consultants are expected to build strong relationship and a solid reputation within the industry and market they serve.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor university degree or equivalent Work Experience in HR Domain

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• min. 4-6 years of technology implementation experience including five or more years direct hands-on experience in multiple full lifecycles, complex data and reporting experience.
• Own and deliver discrete pieces of work, within an assignment, to time and quality
• Create client value (by solving client problems or continuous improvement), translating unclear business requirements in to a standard or bespoke solution
• Produce and deliver presentations to middle management (both internal and client)
• Identify issues and risks, take responsibility for their resolution and escalate when appropriate
• Write coherent, literate documents with limited editing required
• Facilitate effective meetings (workshops or conference calls, either internal or client)
• Effectively participate in Zalaris X-Shore delivery model, as part of a team spread across locations and geographies
• Develop client relationships, building confidence and credibility, within your area
• Contribute to team activities and discussions, including providing constructive feedback to peers and juniors and accepting feedback
• Identify revenue or margin opportunities within your current assignment
• Have a broad functional/process/technology knowledge across area of expertise and have in depth knowledge of some specific areas and be actively involved in the capability and sharing knowledge
• Be aware of major developments and initiatives in area of expertise
• Be aware of some of the competing and complementary technologies, tools and products in field of expertise
• Have an understanding of some of the major current Zalaris assignments in field of expertise
• Provide guidance and development to more junior consultants or new joiners and conduct fit and technical interviews for anyone at a lower grade
• Own design and implementation of complex technical solutions within own area of expertise and understand the wider impact on the assignment (Technical Only)
• Have a broad awareness and understanding of technologies and development tools/techniques (Technical Only)
• Use complementary technologies that might be used for end-to-end technology solution within area of expertise (Technical Only)
• Implement technical best practices (Technical Only)
• Own design and delivery of process/functional/industry sub stream, leading design workshops in own area of expertise (Functional Only)
• Translate unclear business objectives into a set of requirements, which can be supported by a process/functional solution, and challenge complex design requirements (Functional Only)
• Understand major integration touch points, support the identification and resolution of complex functional/process/industry support issues and advise on potential challenges and issues (Functional Only)
• Write business process documentation, configure product, write complex functional specifications and execute complex testing in own area of expertise (Functional Only)
• Support the identification and resolution of complex functional and process support issues (Functional Only)
• Own discrete elements of the cutover plan, support and validate data migration business validation (Functional Only)
• Understand the benefits case and change impacts for a project (Functional Only)
• Understand the general strategic and operational dimensions of the relevant industry and apply to solution (Functional Only)”
