Senior Counsellor (Relocate to Ayers Rock Resort, Northern Territory)

We are currently seeking a Senior Counsellor to provide evidence-based relationship focused therapeutic assessment and psychological support in working collaboratively with Voyages staff based at Ayers Rock Resort.
The Social and emotional well being (SEWB) counselling position is a Senior Role in the Well being Team to assist clients’ individual goals through short term counselling, small group work and health promotion sessions.
Ayers Rock Resort has a strong focus on Indigenous employment and the role works closely with the National Indigenous Training Academy as well
as all employees across the resort.

• Conduct comprehensive individual therapeutic assessments and develop collaborative care plans in partnership with clients

Facilitate individual and group counselling sessions to work with clients on identified psychosocial stressors using evidenced based counselling modalities

• Support clients to access appropriate services through clear referral pathways and effective working relationships with other health care professionals and services
• Design and deliver proactive social and emotional well being and health promotion sessions to enhance staff well being
• Maintain internal and external stakeholder networks to meet the aims and objectives of the SEWB program
