We are currently on the hunt for a number of Senior Data Engineers to join a scaling tech firm based in the UK but operating across Europe and beyond.
The team off advanced analytics and AI-powered data services using Machine Learning and Big Data to a long list of clients, including household name tech giants.
As a Senior Member of this team you’ll work on data architecture and engineering with the Team Lead, defining best practices and approaches, proactively look into new technologies and mentoring some of the junior members of the team.
You’ll also be working with external stakeholders, architect new data platforms and designing, building and testing data pipelines based on bespoke functional & non-functional requirements.
This is an open, collaborative environment with a fairly flat hierarchy. The perfect place to work with like-minded technologists on an array of brand new projects using the latest tech.
It’s also a great place to learn and upskill. All you need to bring to the table is technical knowledge of AWS, SQL and Python and your previous commercial experience in Data Engineering projects.
KNOWLEDGE OF ML AND AI IS NOT ESSENTIAL.
As you can see, we are looking for someone has ‘been there, done it’ in terms of experience. You’ll likely have a fair few projects under your belt and and a good number of years of experience in Data Engineering. Beyond that, specific tech beyond AWS, Python and SQL is not necessary.
This is a fully remote role until at least 2022, with the possibility of full remote working after. There may be some on-site client meetings but you’ll be made aware well in advance and of course be paid for your travel/time.
To confirm, this is a permanent role paying up to £60,000 - £80,000 with full benefits available. Total package with bonus is an additional 15% - 20%
