We’re looking for a Senior Designer to join our fully-remote team.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the user experience of our 40+ products that impact more than 150 millions of shoppers worldwide every month and thousands of merchants every day.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of experience in product design roles, with a proven track record in e-commerce.
• Experience with or understanding of the Shopify ecosystem is a big plus.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design skills for responsive web applications.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices, including running your own user interviews.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Proficiency in using Webflow for website design and updates.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively across other teams.
• You’re proud of taking ownership of design projects, regardless of their scale. You’re comfortable tackling ambiguous design problems while also managing day-to-day design tasks.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Significant overlap with CET Timezone (± 4 hours)

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Designer at Vitals, you will be responsible for shaping visually appealing and user-centric solutions for our 40+ Shopify apps and even more exciting tools that will come.
We’re looking for someone who excels in UI/UX design, preferably with previous e-commerce experience, a strong eye for detail, and a passion for creating user experiences that convert.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Here are some key responsibilities:

• Work closely with product managers and the engineering team to design and improve the UI/UX of our e-commerce apps, both existing and new.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that bring product ideas to life. We use industry-standard tools like Figma.
• Learn Polaris, the official Shopify design system, inside and out, as our admin interface is built on top of it
• Run frequent user interviews, testing your ideas and validating your prototypes.
• Create design solutions with a clear user-centric outcome and are defined at just the right level of detail.
• Maintain & improve the design system and UI components that ensure consistency across all our apps and new features.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends and best practices in the e-commerce universe.
