Description:
The roleReporting to the Executive Director, People and Culture and Planning, you will be responsible for providing exemplary leadership in the design and delivery of contemporary and innovative organisational development, wellbeing and strategic workforce planning programs and strategies. You will work autonomously to set the agenda for the majority of the people experience functions across North West Health. You will also:
- Design, develop, and executive a comprehensive strategy for the HR and Workplace Health and Safety portfolios
- Establish and evolve a high performing HR and Workplace Health and Safety portfolio
- Consult effectively with a range of stakeholders including senior stakeholders and senior executives Design and deliver a new HR service deliver model
- Represent North West on forums and meetings
- Lead, guide and drive the teams in each of the sub-directorates
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies and initiatives
The successful personThe successful candidate will have a proven record as a senior leader and thought leader of a similar position within a large organisation. You will have a great focus on how North West can improve contemporary HR strategies. You will also have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills is required, including the ability to negotiate, influence and consult at a senior level. Additionally, you will have a proven track record in organisational development, workforce planning and workplace health and safety and effective professional and consultative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including senior management and demonstrate a supportive and collaborative leadership style.
About usThe North West Hospital and Health Services (NWHHS) is responsible for the public sector health services in the North West region.
