Responsibilities:

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Strategy and Operations for the CMO. This strategic role is integral to the success of our marketing organisation, driving operational excellence, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong background in marketing, strategy, and operations and experience having led an operational marketing function.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Strategic Planning and Execution:Collaborate with the CMO and marketing and enablement leadership team to define, prioritise, and track strategic initiatives. Develop, document, implement, and monitor progress against monthly, quarterly, and annual planning processes to improve visibility within marketing and enablement and with other functions. Ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business goals and help define core KPI and OKR for the team.
Operational Excellence: Streamline processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Help coordinate, prep for, and run Marketing and Enablement Quarterly Business Reviews focusing on function performance, insights and trends Work across marketing and functions outside of marketing to facilitate data improvement to support more effective business operations. Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for marketing projects where applicable.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the CMO and other departments.Facilitate communication and coordination across teams.Drive cross-functional projects and initiatives.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.Provide guidance and support to team members.
Data-driven Decision Making: Utilise data and analytics to inform strategic decisions.Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).Identify opportunities for improvement based on data insights.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Represent the CMO in meetings and communications as needed. Ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged.
Special Projects: Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CMO.Manage high-priority tasks and ensure timely completion.
