QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Early Childhood Education Certificate with current License to Practice
  • Two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience .Successful completion of agency screening process, including clear criminal record check

  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
    Temporary role until March 6, 2025 or return of the incumbent
    Rate of Pay : $28.92 per hour (includes the ECEWE)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to staff, volunteers, and practicum students.
  • Responsible for training, supervising, supporting and evaluating staff, volunteers and practicum students.
  • Planning, implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate activities and experiences for children.
  • Ensures programs and activities offered are consistent with agency core values and core programming areas.
  • Work directly in program being a positive role model, mentor and relationship builder with children, parents, staff and volunteers.
