Description:
A leading construction company is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Construction Estimator with experience in High-Rise Residential projects. This key role supports the successful execution of high-rise residential projects from start to finish.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 8-10+ years of experience in Residential High-Rise Construction Estimating, with at least 3 years in a Senior Estimator role.
- PQS designation or CIQS affiliation is required.
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- Proven experience with high-value projects, particularly those exceeding $150MM.
- Proficient in construction law, building codes, and reading construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong computer skills, including On Center Takeoff, Bluebeam, BIM, MS Excel, and MS Office.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present detailed construction cost estimates for high-rise residential projects.
- Conduct comprehensive quantity takeoffs and analyze data for accuracy.
- Manage and maintain detailed cost databases specific to high-rise construction.
- Develop and implement innovative cost management strategies to identify and mitigate budget risks.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines.
