Wakefield Canada Inc. has an opportunity for a SR. FINANCIAL ANALYST. This role is responsible for providing financial insights and strategic support to drive business decisions. This role involves detailed financial modeling and analysis to support RFQs and business opportunities. This role is essential for driving financial performance and supporting strategic initiatives through detailed financial analysis and insights.
Responsibilities:
- Lead financial analysis and provide financial modeling support for business cases (RFPs, line reviews, key account renewals, etc.). Prepare financial models to support pricing strategies and competitive bids for various business cases. Partner with the business to enable the analysis to be completed on time and to a high quality, present findings, and recommendations for review. Follow up with post-mortem analysis.
- Provide financial analysis and analytical support to support on key projects and strategic initiatives in the business. Partner with project teams to gather inputs and enable the analysis to be completed on time and to a high quality.
- Provide support on price change process, with financial impact evaluation and price page validation support. Work with Pricing and Product Manager to implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy of the price change process.
- Provide analytical support for various business units, identifying trends, variances, and key performance indicators to inform decision-making.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to support business performance achievements.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships and business partnerships with internal departments.
- Assist with corporate budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.
- Provide financial leadership and support as needed on special projects.
