As a Core Software Developer, you will be working closely with a diverse development team, experienced graphic designers, and product marketing to define the software architecture for new solutions. QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 4 years of experience as a software engineer
  • At least 2 years working on an Agile or Scrum development team
  • Prior success in developing modern web applications
  • Knowledge and working experience in one or more server-side programming languages such as SQL and IIS
  • Experience working with REST services and applications that provide/consume data
  • Working knowledge of Github or other code management systems
  • Proficiency with .net, MVC Razor 3, MS SQL, HTML / CSS, Javascript, and C sharp is a must.
  • Ability to empathize with users and champion for their experience
  • Experience in managing a development team a plus
  • Experience working with high performance/high availability environments is a plus.
  • Experience working with Azure-hosted applications is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Manage iterations and elements of the release process
  • Engineering software to enhance the experience and functionality of our websites
  • Troubleshoot errors or issues inside the company’s technology stack
  • Collaborate with product managers to ensure efficient workflows in all departments
  • Modernizing and improving existing legacy software systems
  • Produce, review and update documentation as necessary
  • Implement 3rd party integrations to our core platform
  • Provide continuous innovation and improvement to the platform as directed collaboratively with our software architect
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
