SELECTED is on an exciting journey. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior HR (PEOPLE) Business Partner to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving strategic people initiatives and supporting our ambitious growth plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive experience in HR business partnering within an international company, with a strong focus on strategic HR management.
  • Proven track record of strategic collaboration with top management teams.
  • Own leadership experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Knowledge about employment law and the ability to provide advice on the subject.
  • Proficiency in English and Danish is required; fluency in additional languages such as German, French, or Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

You will be a strategic partner to SELECTED’s Brand Director and top management team in strategic people management, driving initiatives across the brand and implementing new ones based on the strategic SELECTED journey leaning up against the HR strategy set by BESTSELLER PEOPLE (the central HR function).
You will be reporting to the PEOPLE Business Partner Manager in BESTSELLER and be a part of the PEOPLE Business Partner team, but you will spend the majority of your time with the Brand Management team at SELECTED in Brande, Denmark, and will be part of the top management team at SELECTED.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Partnership: Acting as a strategic HR sparring partner for the Brand Director and the top management team, providing insights on strategy, employees, and leadership development.
  • HR Leadership: Leading the HR function at SELECTED, focusing on coaching and developing the top management team, Regional Sales Managers, Country Sales Managers, and sales colleagues across regions.
  • HR Operations: Working closely with BESTSELLER PEOPLE on legal matters, recruitment, salary administration, and general benefits, ensuring compliance and alignment with company policies.
  • Cultural Integration: Championing the integration of SELECTED’s regional setup into a cohesive and unified culture that reflects our brand values and culture.
  • Communication: Exhibiting excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to effectively engage and influence stakeholders across the organisation.
