Responsibilities:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Treasury Analyst who will lead Treasury’s mitigation and compliance of Model Risk and End User Computing Tools (EUCT).
Treasury at Wells Fargo is a dynamic team that is responsible for managing Wells Fargo’s balance sheet including capital, liquidity, funding, and interest rate risk management. Treasury seeks to ensure Wells Fargo always maintains sufficient capital and liquidity resources to support growth in the Company’s businesses, while also ensuring a satisfactory financial cushion exists to protect against unforeseen stresses in the economic environment or the Company’s operations. Treasury also provides regulators, senior leaders, and the Board of Directors with key information to support risk management, financial performance management, and strategic planning.
In this role, you will:
- Ensure the Quantitative and Qualitative Models owned by Treasury are meeting all Model Risk Management Policy guidance, including ensuring all submissions are timely for Model Development Documents, resolutions of Model Risk Findings and Model Monitoring Documents.
- Perform as a resource for Model Owners to support model risk management as well as quality control for all documentation submitted by Model Owners.
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with Model Governance, Corporate Risk Management, and Internal Audit teams as well as outside parties including regulatory agencies and accounting and consulting firms
- Make recommendations to more experienced group members and management
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
