This individual must possess strong leadership, communication, and technical skills to drive a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. The Plant Manager will lead all operational and maintenance activities across two sites, ensuring alignment with Allied Alloys’ mission to “Be the Best”—operating safely, efficiently, and in an environmentally sound manner. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Culture Serve as a Culture Leader, modeling and reinforcing the Company’s Core Values. Champion the company’s belief and expectation of “Safety First, Safety Always.” Promote teamwork, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset across all departments. Communicate effectively with Senior Leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment on goals and performance. Operational Management Lead and manage all Operational Department Supervisors across Kirbyville Direct and coordinate plant operations to meet or exceed company expectations and key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure operational efficiency, optimizing material flow, processes, and productivity. Maintain full accountability for operational budgets, costs, and performance outcomes. Oversee the safe and effective use of equipment and resources, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Technical Expertise & Quality Demonstrate verifiable operational and commercial knowledge in Stainless, Vacuum, and Air Melt quality alloys. Possess working knowledge and experience with Spectrometers and Nitons (preffered) Ensure compliance with all Local, State, and Federal environmental and safety regulations. People Development & Administration Recruit, train, and develop supervisors and employees to build a high-performing team. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement progressive, documented discipline when necessary. Develop and implement new policies and procedures to enhance operations and safety. Participate in scheduled corporate meetings and training sessions to stay aligned with company strategy and standards. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications Proven leadership experience managing operations in an industrial or metals manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – are mandatory. Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred; experience managing in a bilingual environment required. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and the ability to learn proprietary software systems. Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and operational improvement. Knowledge of Spectrometers and Nitons (required). Certifications in CPR, First Aid, OSHA, and Forklift Operation are a plus. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5–10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or metals processing operations. Proven record of achieving safety, quality, and productivity goals in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Exposure to indoor and outdoor industrial warehouse environments. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
