Description:

The Key Account Manager (Consumer Lines) is responsible for managing and growing key accounts within the Consumer Lines department in Finland. You will work closely with clients to understand their insurance needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. The Senior Partnership Manager is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, building and maintaining long-term relationships, and achieving revenue growth targets.
You will interact with brokers and large accounts at a senior level in a variety of markets. It requires skills to manage and influence different priorities within the accounts.
You must have a good understanding of the various market dynamics and the ability to influence customers, create product awareness, and close deals with minimal supervision.
You will be based in Helsinki with focus on the Finnish market with potential to manage accounts in other countries. You will be part of the wider Northern Europe Consumer Lines team, which consists of Partnership Management, Business Development, Claims and Operations. In addition, you will work closely with the regional Consumer Lines and Underwriting teams.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Specific similar experience in an insurance company, broker, or insurance department in a large company (bank, utility, telco, mobility)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s, or similar years of experience for the role
  • Previous knowledge of insurance, particularly in Affinity Programs, Direct Marketing and Travel Insurance is required
  • Ability to identify business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Goal-oriented and strong negotiation skills
  • Fluency in Finnish and English (both spoken and written) are mandatory
  • Because Chubb has a clear focus on digital distribution, previous experience in this area is a plus
    This position requires some traveling within the Nordic countries.

Responsibilities:

Partnership Management is crucial to the growth of Chubb Consumer Lines and in this role, you will promote Chubb’s Consumer Lines capabilities as a whole to existing partners.
We are looking for an experienced (senior) partnership manager to manage existing accounts and further develop the relationship, the portfolio and the products. During the implementation of new deals or products, you will work closely with specialists from different business lines (Digital & Direct Marketing, Underwriting, Operations, Claims).

You will be responsible for achieving the business plan of the Consumer Lines department through:

  • Searching and finding new opportunities within existing accounts – identifying and developing growth opportunities, generating new revenue streams, creating and maintaining a business pipeline according to customer account performance, planning and monitoring.
  • Work effectively to generate and support cross-sell opportunities across product lines.
  • The continuation and extension of existing collaborations.
  • Working within agreed budgets.
  • Setting up and tracking Forecast vs Plan activities and goals.
  • Working closely with underwriters to improve program profitability.
  • Working closely with other colleagues to implement new collaborations.
  • Play an important role in generating appropriate regional campaigns.
  • Reporting to Northern Europe Management and/or Regional Teams in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conducting market analyses
  • Preparing for and participating in internal Product Council and Governance meetings
  • Working with the Business Development Manager on the implementation of new programs to ensure a seamless transfer of new accounts.

You have analytical and tactical mindset and are collaborative by nature and are also able to work independently when required.
